19th November 2017, a beautiful day for a team effort…

14th November 2017

There’s no standing still here at the farm… the beds were sprayed off a while ago & now its time for the rotavator! My trusty helper is busy at work digging over the ground & preparing the sack-fulls of bulbs that are arriving… Seed catalogues are now my night time reading… Old gutters are now handy seed beds.. Its an exciting time….xxx

Day 1  – 12th October 2017
A lightbulb moment… and my love of gardening (Qualified Btec Advanced Garden Landscaping & Design, second in the Cheshire Farms’ Garden Competition 2015, previous business ‘The Little Blue Potting Shed) has lead me to flower farming… The farmer husband has kindly given some land (possibly with a bit of nagging).
The aim is provide local, season & affordable flowers on a ‘Pick Your Own’ Basis on a Friday afternoon…. Fill a container of flowers, pick anything you like. Over time hopefully the range will become diverse. So today being Day 1, follow me on my journey of Flower Farming.
Hannah xx
